BM Bureau, Feb 27 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi who arrived at 2.15 pm at the Belagavi airport and was received by Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai, Union Minister Prahlad Joshi, Regional Commissioner M G Hiremath, ADGP Alok Kumar and Belagavi Mayor Shobhs Somannache.
Later as scheduled PM Modi landed at Police Parade ground near APMC and reached Rani Chenamma Circle where the road show commenced. At around 3.10 pm. The rally passed via College Road, Dharmveer Sambhaji Circle, Ramling Khind Galli, Tilak Chowk, Kapileshwar Overbridge and connected old Dharwad Road via Bank of India before reaching Malini City venue at 3.40 pm.
Standing on the footrests of the vehicle PM Modi was seen waving at the crowds showering flower petals on the PM. The SPG commandos who walked all along the 11 odd kms route braving hot sun were under control of the situation.
