BM Bureau, Belagavi Sept 5 : Belagavi Superintendent of Police Dr Sanjeev Patil has been transferred. Bhimashankar Guled (IPS-2012 batch) has been appointed as the new SP of Belagavi. The transfer has been effected a few days before Shri Ganesh Festival.
SP Dr Patil was popular among the common people and was known for his Phone In program through which commonest of the common man could voice his grievances to the SP directly. He had also successfully handled the law and order situation in the district very successfully.
