BM Bureau, August 1 : As a part of charity and on the occasion of 77th birthday of KLES Chairman Dr Prabhakar Kore, the KLES Dr Prabhakar Kore Hospital is conducting 100 free angiograms and 25 free angioplasties. The above treatment would be carried out on economically weaker patients who cannot afford the cost of the surgeries.
Medical Director and CEO of the hospital Dr (Col) M Dayananda said that Cardiology department of KLES Dr Prabhakar Kore Hospital & MRC is providing wide range of cardiac treatment, since 1997 the hospital has set up a state of art Cath-lab in 2000 and is driven by well qualified and highly experienced doctors. The cardiologists have performed more than 1.5 lakh cath procedures till date.
” Patients who do not have any Government health scheme and family deprived senior citizen are selected ” Dr Dayananda said. However, under this scheme patient with co morbidities like low blood pressure, lever disease, kidney disease and neurological disorder will not be considered for the benefit, he added.
Beneficiary patient need to bring adhaar card, abha card, ration card, PAN card. Dr Suresh Patted Senior Cardialogist and Dr Sanjay Porwal Head of Cardiology Department, Dr Rajendra Nerli Director Clinical Services, Dr Rajsekhar Somanatti. Dr Sameer Ambar, Dr M R Prasad, Dr Viswanath Hesarur were present.
